It has been eight months since the devastating hurricane Harvey struck the city of Houston, Texas and surrounding areas.

The hurricane left many people homeless and devasted, and left the city of Houston in a state of emergency. Despite the Horrific damage the hurricane caused the city, Houston is slowly being rebuilt back to what it used to be.

Unfortunately, many people in Houston that were affected by the hurricane are still at loss. Unemployment rates have sky rocketed and many are still without homes and basic necessities.

Though Fema disbursed relief funds to many Houston residents. They fear that it is still not enough to get things back in order for many families.

Many have relocated to other cities in efforts to getting there life back to normal, and find decent jobs.

As far as rebuilding the city, programs such as "Rebuild Houston" have been launched over the past couple months to get things back in order.
