Struggles within the LGBT community

The LGBT community has been a discussion for many years overtime. Many people within the LGBT community face a lot of issues within society in current times. Although sexual preference is a very sensitive subject it is still a topic that needs to be discussed more within society.

Ashley and Valencia are a couple from Atlanta Georgia who hope to bring change to the community and help people understand and except people who are different than them.

"We all deserve to love who we love," said Ashley. In many ways, this couple has brought change to the community by hosting LGBT community parties that are now open to the public.

"Hopefully by spreading the love we have for one another, People will understand us more," said Valencia when asked what she would like to accomplish by throwing these parties.

Above all the couple would like to spread light on common stereotypes within the community, that they find mean and judgemental.

Their main goal is to help people to not have hatred for what they do not understand but learn to understand differences and operate from a place of love and compassion with one another.
