letter to Jet Magazine

Dear editor and cheif,

My name is Olivia Aihe and I’m currently a Full Sail University journalism student. I wrote a very compelling article on the diversity of the beauty industry and I believe that this article will be an amazing fit and interesting read.

I noticed that jet mag is mainly picked up by millennials and my article will be of great interest to them. In many ways, my article is relatable to different ethnicities and all walks of life.

The beauty industry has diversified in many ways over the past couple of years. People are wearing and buying makeup more than ever and it is now a 250-billion-dollar industry.

I believe my article can contribute to what is an already interesting diverse magazine as Jet Mag. I believe this article will be very informative and give a lot of insight and perspective on the world of beauty and the people who make it thrive.

in terms of audio visual content I have created a two minute video that shows the growth of the industry and also displays and features popular makeup brands. Im aware that it is very important to show visual elements to add to a compelling newsworthy story.

I believe i am qualified to deliver this story because of my extensive knowledge in the industry, I also aquire a film degree and worked for over five years in the film and journalism industry.
